What never leaves the server
Owner name, email, and phone are used to deliver your alert. They are not included in scanner JSON, error messages, or the on-screen chat. Rate limits blunt people who try to hammer tokens.
You still control the conversation
Pause the vehicle, ignore a thread, or reply. Strangers do not get a second channel unless you choose to share one — which we recommend you do not.
Get a private QR sticker
Stop printing your phone number on the car. Create a CarNotify account or activate a shop sticker.
